Rafaela is a researcher focused on advancing circularity, retrofit planning, and building performance at Adaptis. She brings a strong academic foundation and a passion for bridging research with real-world impact. Currently completing her PhD in Civil Engineering at Concordia University, where she also earned her MASc in Building Engineering, Rafaela thrives on developing creative solutions to complex decarbonization challenges and seeing them put into practice. Before joining Adaptis, she worked as a Research Assistant at Concordia University. Outside of her research, Rafaela has a long history in competitive tennis, including competing at the NCAA Division I level and coaching the sport.
